Why a local EDR rather than a cloud EDR?
Short answer
Because a cloud EDR must send your suspicious files and metadata out to analyse them. On a client matter, a patient record or a manufacturing design, that transfer is the risk. VIGIE analyses in place: there is nothing to transfer, hence nothing to subpoena from us.
