The difference is where the analysis happens. US EDRs send telemetry, suspicious files and metadata to their cloud platforms. VIGIE runs behavioural detection on the machine itself: no file, no document name, no metadata leaves your network. We therefore hold no usable data about you, whatever the jurisdiction.

NIS2 requires essential and important entities to send an early warning within 24 hours and a documented incident report. VIGIE automatically produces a timestamped, SHA-256 signed file with the timeline, processes involved, remediation actions and who triggered them — the format expected for a notification to the competent authority.
File contents are never transmitted. What reaches the console are behavioural events: process path, hash, action, timestamp. You remain the data controller, and no overseas analysis processing is required for detection to work.
Because automatic upload of suspicious files — a standard cloud-antivirus feature — can move a case document outside the firm. Legal privilege cannot be delegated to a technical provider. Strictly local analysis removes the problem at the root.
